How We Review Quality on Every Pallet

Buying a liquidation pallet means buying without inspecting it first — so our liquidation pallet quality review does that job before a lot ever reaches the shop.

Every pallet we list goes through the same checks: condition grading, manifest verification, real photos of the actual lot, and honest disclosure of what’s known and what isn’t. If we don’t know something about a lot, we say so.

What our quality review checks

  1. Pallet condition grading using the scale below, based on source information and visible state.
  2. Manifest match — where a manifest is available, check the listing against it: retailer, category, unit counts, item types.
  3. Real photos — photos show the actual lot or a representative lot of the same type, never a generic stock image presented as the lot itself.
  4. Damage and wear — visible damage, missing parts or heavy wear that we know about is disclosed in the listing, not hidden.

Our condition grades

Liquidation pallet condition is graded on the scale below.

  • New Overstock: unused, retail-ready overstock and shelf pulls.
  • Like New: open-box or lightly handled items in near-new condition.
  • Customer Returns: returned items in mixed condition; may include tested, untested, used or damaged units.
  • Salvage: heavily used, damaged or parts-only lots, priced accordingly.
  • Untested means untested: unless a listing explicitly says items were tested, assume they were not.

Manifests — what they guarantee, and what they don’t

For manifested pallets, the manifest is a guide, not a guarantee. Counts, brands and item types can vary, and a manifested lot can still contain substitutions or missing units.

Unmanifested lots are sold on category and condition alone. We never promise a specific brand, model or item inside a mixed lot unless the listing states it.

What AS IS really means

All lots are sold AS IS, all sales final, no warranty, no returns/refunds/exchanges — except one case: if we ship you the wrong lot entirely, email admin@shopliquidationpallets.com within 3 business days and we’ll make it right. Freight and deposits are non-refundable. Full terms are on the Refund & Returns Policy page.

Two sections, same quality bar

Our Ontario section ships from Ontario to Canadian buyers; our US section ships directly from the US to US clients. Both sections go through the same quality review and honest grading before listing.

Customer reviews

Bought a lot from us? We’d value your honest review — email it to admin@shopliquidationpallets.com with your order number and we’ll publish genuine buyer reviews here. We never publish invented testimonials: this section stays empty until real buyers send real reviews.

How our liquidation pallet quality review helps you buy

Use the condition grade and manifest status on each listing to set your expectations before you order. A New Overstock or Like New lot should arrive close to retail-ready, while a Customer Returns or Salvage lot can include tested, untested, used or damaged units – the listing’s grade and photos tell you which end of that range to expect.

If a listing is unmanifested, judge it on category and condition alone, and never assume a specific brand or model is inside a mixed lot. If anything about a lot is unclear, email admin@shopliquidationpallets.com with the listing name before you order and we will tell you what we know – and what we don’t.

Payment questions are covered in our buying steps – we accept PayPal at checkout. If you want help choosing between two lots, send us both listing names and we will compare their grades and manifest status for you before you order.

Where to go next

Every lot we list is a quality checked pallet before it reaches the shop. When you’re ready, browse the Shop, read How It Works, check the FAQ, or start with the Liquidation Pallets hub and Amazon Return Pallets.
